Pollo a la cerveza
Gebratenes Huhn mit Zwiebeln
Fried chicken with onions


Receta de Mariana Miñarro García (Talleres de Inglés B1).

Ingredients:
500-750g diced chicken or 5 chicken thighs
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 onions
1 carrot
1 can of beer
Thyme sprigs, salt pepper and some flour


Steps to make it:

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken until browned.Remove from the frying pan and set aside.

Chop the onions and carrot and fry gently for 10 minutes.

Add the chicken to the pan and cook over a low heat, stirring for 1 minute.

Pour the beer over the chicken, add the thyme sprigs, salt and pepper and cook for approximately 30-40 minutes.
